It's been a year, give or take, since I last updated this account. There's not much to say about that other than I haven't been writing very much recently. I'm going to try and write a poem per day for all of August (a task at which I failed last summer), so keep your eyes out for new deviations.

I am back after a bajillion year hiatus to say that I'm writing one poem every day for the month of August -- or at least that's the plan. Expect to see them all here, and enjoy what you can!

a long time coming

to be honest i'm only updating this because i got tired of seeing that old journal every time i logged on to deviantart, rare as those times are. anyway, i haven't done any creative writing in ages. i've been bogged down with work and i got mono, so i don't think there will be much activity on this account for a long, long time. but who knows?

Two weeks ago I got a Daily Deviation on The Fuguist - yes, this journal is a little belated, sorry about that 
- so I'd like to say thanks so much to lovetodeviate for featuring it and to everyone else for taking the time to read it! I'm going through and replying to all your comments and favs in my own fashion (belatedly, that is, of course). It warms my heart to read all your kind words, and I'm proud to have produced something that so many have enjoyed. Thank you all again!

I wish...

...that I had more to post. But I don't. I did do some creative writing and poetry at Governor's School, but none of it is the kind of quality I'd like to keep in this gallery. But I'll get around to putting the final touches on them soon enough. In the meantime, if you like my style, keep an eye on my scraps. A lot of new stuff will be going in there soon, I hope! :]
